Company and Product Thesis

State of Stick is building a company at the intersection of physical product, connected identity, governed digital experiences, and first-party intelligence.

The central thesis is simple:

A well-made physical object can become a durable relationship surface when its identity, experience, business workflow, and measurement remain managed throughout the object’s useful life.

The result is not merely a sticker with NFC, a dynamic QR code, a landing page, or an analytics dashboard. It is a coordinated operating model for physical media that can continue to educate, verify, serve, convert, or communicate after production.

Most physical marketing and product materials become static after they are made. Their information ages, their effect is difficult to measure, and the organization that commissioned them often loses the relationship once the item leaves its direct channel.

Digital campaigns solve part of that problem but lack the persistence, placement, memory, collectibility, and real-world context of a physical object. Generic NFC and QR tools connect the two surfaces, but a link alone does not provide:

  • durable object identity and lifecycle management;
  • a controlled experience and publishing model;
  • an appropriate distinction between ordinary and verified interaction;
  • business workflows for claim, registration, payment, or service;
  • privacy-aware attribution from physical interaction to meaningful outcome;
  • the operational records needed to support customers and partners.

State of Stick starts with an object worth keeping and adds only the connected capabilities that produce a useful outcome.

State of Stick can create value at several points in the lifecycle:

  1. Physical creation — design, production, finishing, and delivery of the object or program.
  2. Program configuration — connected identity, experience, workflow, testing, and launch preparation.
  3. Ongoing operation — managed destinations, reporting, support, controlled updates, and customer access.
  4. Expansion — additional objects, campaigns, locations, product lines, verified tiers, or business workflows.
  5. Intelligence — approved analysis and recommendations derived from the organization’s own program context.

This describes the commercial architecture, not a promise that every project contains every component. Pricing, margins, supplier economics, and customer terms remain confidential.

Individual components are available elsewhere. The differentiation is the coordination of physical design, connected identity, governed software, trust, measurement, and delivery around one object lifecycle.

That coordination compounds operational knowledge:

  • which physical formats earn interaction in a real environment;
  • which experiences lead to useful action;
  • how trust level changes product and support requirements;
  • how programs should be configured, tested, measured, and improved;
  • which controls are reusable across customers and verticals.

The company does not rely on claiming invention of commodity technologies. Its long-term advantage is intended to come from the integrated system, execution discipline, accumulated program knowledge, customer workflows, and proprietary methods that connect physical and digital delivery.

This documentation explains the system sufficiently for commercial and technical evaluation. It does not disclose supplier relationships, bills of materials, cost structure, manufacturing parameters, secure-device configuration, anti-abuse thresholds, proprietary ALTstatic internals, private customer records, or claim-level intellectual-property strategy.
