Connected Object Lifecycle

The object has an intended owner, program, destination type, trust level, and production context. No public entitlement should depend on an unapproved plan.

The physical piece is made and its connected element is placed according to the approved design. Production records connect the item or batch to its intended program without exposing proprietary manufacturing detail.

The platform associates the object identity with an approved experience and required business rules. Configuration is reviewed before activation.

Representative devices, fallback paths, destination content, trust states, analytics attribution, and error behavior are checked. Internal tests are identified so they can be separated from customer reporting.

The object resolves to the approved live experience. Authorized operators can monitor health and update allowed destination content without changing the physical piece.

An experience may be revised, scheduled, paused, or replaced. Material changes follow the customer’s approval and publishing responsibilities.

Retirement may lead to a neutral information page, support path, archival record, or disabled interaction depending on the product and agreement. Retiring the experience does not erase records that must be retained for contracts, consent, security, fulfillment, or legal obligations.
